
The new, grade-separated bridge will be an 800-foot long structure with architectural details that celebrate Mecca’s uniqueness. The Mecca seal will be displayed on the new bridge, and a unique design on the bridge retaining wall that backs up to the new sports complex celebrates Mecca’s community.

The bridge also includes a traffic lane in each direction, along with a barrier-separated bicycle and pedestrian lane, will provide a safe railroad crossing for automobiles, trucks, farm equipment, emergency vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists.
The project also includes three new intersections with traffic signals, and a 175-foot bridge over the existing irrigation channel.

What to Expect:
- Timeline: May 2020 through Fall 2021
- Work hours: Weekdays, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., occasional nighttime work
- Expect construction traffic, normal noises associated with construction and loud noise during pile driving operations.
Road Closures

Lincoln Road between Avenue 66 and Avenue 67, from May 2020 to Spring 2021. Please follow posted detours.

Hammond Road and SR-111 may be closed during nighttime work. Advance public notification will be provided at a future date.
